I went to a bead show in the city this weekend and spent a little more than I should have!! Here is just a pinch of the goodies that I picked up. There were so many rare beads and findings I just couldn't control myself!!
Then to finish off the day, I met up with my two favorite men {the hubby & midget} at Barnes & Noble and was pleasantly surprised with this book . . .
Would you believe that the midget picked it out. He really is a brilliant child. Anyway, the book is full of useful information that will help me to learn more about my natural craft. I hope to share the goodnis with you soon . . .
Remember that term?? Memories of too much lip gloss, purple eyeshadow, and finger waves come to mind . . . I guess that's why I can appreiciate these 80's like photos of Dime Pieces's 2007 Summer Look Book.
This is my last post about shoes this week!! But I couldn't resist these slippers by Report. These shoes take the black pump to the next level and are priced at the perfect level to be splurge worthy {perhaps a birthday gift to myself in the making} . . .
Danced so hard your legs hurt days after?? The hubby's birthday bash was great. I believe we were the only couple that danced from the moment we hit the floor till the lights came on {and you know that's late - we were in NY!!}. As much as I enjoyed the party, I enjoyed the shopping as well. I stuck to my budget and did even better by not buying the shoes or clutch but wore some things that were already in my wardrobe. However, I did enjoy all the browsing. Even though the warm weather is {finally??} coming to an end, I had to share these matching shoes and bag. I've always been a fan of zebra print, but I think these have taken my heart !!! I love all the details that make this pair extra special . . .
Definitely puts a whole new spin on the age-old threat of having your mouth washed out with soap . . . Coffee Chocolate Latte Soaps available here . . .
Finally, a book that analyzes the natural creative genius that is intuitively innate in sistahs and how we shape the world around us. Definitely #1 on my must-read list.
