We’re still trudging along . . . .

Thursday, June 21, 2007

with our remodeling project and I’m determined to tackle the kitchen next. So far I’ve come up with a pseudo mood board of the basic design scheme I'm heading towards. . . . . .

A. satin nickel hardware for our kitchen cabinets. It also matches all of our stainless steel appliances.
B. blue dinnerware to add “punch” off of white walls
C. morrocanesque (yeah I said it again) lighting over kitchen eating area
D. akurum kitchen cabinets we purchased via Ikea
E. birch colored flooring, again purchased via Ikea
F. I have an old bookshelf that I’m going to paint red that will serve as a china cabinet and a place for cookbooks to rest
G. bamboo style flatware I got from Target over 2 years ago that is still in the package!!
H. Inspiration!! Love this vase but it is a little bit (whole lot) out of my budget.
J. my favorite part. A coral stencil motif that will be painted over the stove in a high gloss to serve as the backsplash.

So what do you think??
