Why is the weekend so short?

I hope everyone had a lovely weekend. The hubby and I had a beautiful time discovering the streets of downtown Philly and were smart enough to sneak in a day down the Jersey shore. Philly is a great place to visit. There were so many vegetarian and vegan restaurants just a few blocks from the hotel we stayed at and many shops and boutiques to peruse. My favorite finds were shoe stores of course!! Oddly (or maybe not so, since I love to eat) the most memorable thing I found in Philly was Maoz Vegetarian Restaurant! They put my falafel to shame. I’ll post a few pics of me and the man later. . .

When are you going to do some research and reviews on some California spots?

Glad you two had a good time on your much needed mini-vaca, away from everything...and everyone (haha). I bet you were missed greatly. You have to post some more on some of the things you did. If I know you two, you didn't waste a minute sitting on your butts. Even thought that would have been good too!

Hi I stumbled across your blog from the Fly blog. Had to see who the woman was that thought people in Philly are friendly:-) And see where she hangs out LOL:-) Perhaps we're getting better but I'd say it's around the same as NY/NJ.

At any rate I so have a taste for Maoz right now and this isn't helping. It isn't very far from the job but with this heat the walk there would be torture. Still debating rather I'll take it however I could surely stand getting in the workout perhaps I'll just get a bottled water and go for it!!

    Love the blog btw.
